God's new creation
New covenant with His people
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah…this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (Jer 31:31,33)
“And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.” (Jer 32:40)
“I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant…I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the Lord.” (Ezek 16:60,62)
New spirit
“Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit.” (Ezek 18:31)
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.” (Ezek 36:26-27)
“Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel…Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel…And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land.” (Ezek 37:11-14)
“It shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.” (Joel 2:28-29)
New Jerusalem
“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.” (Isa 65:17-19)
“Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities (我們守聖節的城): thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed (橛子永不拔出), neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken. But there the glorious Lord will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams…And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.” (Isa 33:20-21,24)
“Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain…There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age. And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof…I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.” (Zech 8:1-8)
