Jesus quiets the raging sea (Mk 4:35-41)

  1. How great is the storm?

  2. Why would the Lord allow the storm to hit the small ship at His presence?

  3. Why would the disciples feel so insecure even when their Master was with them?

  4. In your memory, when were you filled with fear even though you felt the Lord was with you?

  5. Why was Jesus able to sleep well in midst of the storm? What did he have that the disciples lacked?

  6. Did the disciples really have no faith in their Master at all? What kind of faith was Jesus talking about?

  7. What lesson about faith do you learn from this miracle?

  8. Next time when you encounter sudden storm in your life, how will you dispel fear and insecure feeling? How does this miracle help you with that?
