  1. What did the destruction of the temple mean to the people of Israel?

  2. What special meaning does ‘the holy temple’ carry for the NT believers? (John 2:18-22; Heb 10:19-20; I Cor 3:16-17; II Cor 6:16)

  3. What signs did Jesus mention? Which of those signs have been or are being fulfilled?

  4. Why will more anti-Christs appear in horrible days? Will the believers be more easily deluded in those days? Why?

  5. How should the believers deal with the oppression?

  6. ‘Who stands where’ does verse 14 refer to? What should the readers understand? (Matt 24:15; Luke 21:20-21; Dan 11:31, 12:11-12)

  7. Besides the Four Gospels, where in NT is the appearance of anti-Christ at the end of ages mentioned? (II Thes 2:1-10; Rev 13:3-18)

  8. What sort of people is the ‘affliction’ in verse 19 mainly concerned with? Is there any special purpose for them to receive that kind of affliction?
