  2. Why are the publicans loathsome? (Luke 19:1-8)

  3. Who are the sinners? (Luke 7:36-47)

  4. Why would the publicans and the sinners eat at table?

  5. Why would the scribes and the Pharisees dislike Jesus sitting with them?

  6. If you compare the scribes and the Pharisees with the Roman centurion in Matt 8:5-13, what difference do you see with their characters?

  7. According to Jesus’ comment in Mark 2:17, who is the sick and who is the healthy?

  8. Is there any similar meaning between Mark 2:17 and John 9:39 when you compare this event with that of Jesus’ healing of the blind man?
